Celebration First Graduation Ceremony at Mahajana College

Mysuru, June 04 – The First Graduation Ceremony of SBRR
Mahajana First Grade College (Autonomous) Jayalakshmipuram,
Mysuru was held on 4th June, 2022 at
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium.

Dr. P. Nagabhushan, Vice Chancellor, Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University), Guntur, Andra Pradesh was the Chief Guest and delivered Graduates’ Day address.He congratulated the rank holders and all other graduates and said “Burning requires Determination, Determination arising out of willingness to commit, If you want to shine like a sun first burn like a sun. The only good reason for your existence is not what you are going to get out of life, but what you are going to give to life”.

He added that the Machinery of ‘What to think’ we call education and that education only makes you mechanical, dull stupid, uncreative. But if you knew how to
think, not what to think, then you would not be mechanical, traditional but live human beings, you would be great revolutionaries” and also said that, life appeares beautiful and full of promises during college days, later students would enter into the harsh world of reality hence get ready to face the global challenges in his Graduation Address. He suggested that all of students remain content while having great ambitions,never be swept away by the hurry of climbing up the ladder of success. Success shall come gradually with effort and not by ambition. You should bear in mind that ambition alone with desire is an enemy but ambition with necessary hard work and acceptance of limitation is a friend. Make ambition a friend.

Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice Chancellor, University of Mysore was the chief guest. He congratulated the college and the remembered Sri.Vasudevamurthy, the founder of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College for setting miles of achievements by the students and set an academic standard.
He congratulated the Awardees and appreciated the youth for building the country. He said the need of a value-based education for motivating the young minds. Individuals should conquer the world with strength and will power, scoring marks alone must not become the sole objective of students. They should look to develop skills. Students need to have the necessary courage to deal with difficulties, that might arise in life said the Vice Chancellor, Hemanth Kumar.

In the Presidential address Mahajana Education Society President Sri. T. Muralidhar Bhagavat shared success story of Steve Jobs and Tesla by Elon Musk for their
achievements. He also encouraged the students that Innovation is more important than Graduation. We have to always grab the opportunities and he guided the students what do next, and insisted them to register to the college Alumni portal. He highlighted achievers
of college like Sri S.M. Krishna, Former Chief Minister, Sri Jaggi Vasudev, Esha
Foundation and Sri Yash, Kannada Cine Actor.

He added that, Mahajana College provides free education for the students who have secured 95% and above for PU and UG. He wished all the rank holders, graduates and students for their future endeavors. Dr. C.K. Renukarya, Director, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post Graduation
Centre instituted cash prize of Rs 5000/- for the 10 top scores and two medals were instituted by Sri Ramanna in his Late son Sukruth.
A total number of 274 (Two Hundred and Seventy Four) students have completed their Post-Graduation. Out of them 40 (Forty) students have secured First Class with Distinction, 232 students in First Class and Two students have secured Second Class all these graduates have received their Graduation Certificate on this auspicious day.

Dr. T. Vijayalakshmi Muralidhar, Hon. Secretary, Mahajana Education Society, Sri. Manjunatha R, Controller of Examinations, Dr. S.R. Ramesh, Academic Advisor & CEO, Prof. P. Sarojamma, Administrative Officer, MES, Sri N. Vijayakumar, Treasurer, MES, Mrs. Lakshmi Bhushan, (spouse of Dr. P. Nagabhushan), Members of Advisory Committee and Governing Body and all the Heads of Mahajana Education Institutions, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of UG and PG, and many retired Principals, Special Invitees, Parents, students, NCC Cadets, Volunteers of Mahajana corps were present in the programme.

Dr. Sreedhara H, Academic Dean of the college administered Oath to the students. Invocation was rendered by Kum. Annanya Bhuvan and Team. Dr. C.K. Renukarya, Director, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post Graduation Centre welcomed the delegates and gathering, Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. B.R. Jayakumari, Principal, Mahajana First Grade College and Ms. Geetha D, Mr. Sunil & Mrs. Rachana compeered the programme. The programme was concluded by the National Anthem.
