PARTICIPATION IN WORLD TOURISM DAY RALLY

We are happy to announce that we were active participants of the World Tourism Day Rally which was held on 27th September 2022 at 04:00 PM at the Mysuru Palace premises. This rally was organised by the Karnataka Tourism Department and Mysuru Travels Association. The Agenda of the World Tourism Day 2022 was “Rethinking Tourism”.

The rally was inaugurated by District in charge minister Sri S T Somashekar who was accompanied by MLA’s Sri G T Devegowda, S A Ramdas, L Nagendra. Mr Prashanth B S and Mr Jayakumar from the Travels Association were also present.

Thirty students of tourism and hospitality department actively participated in the rally under the guidance of Dr.C.K.Renukarya, Director, Mahajana PG Centre, Dr.Satish G Chetty, Head and initiatives taken by Smt Gunarekha B S, Mr Victor Hemanth Kumar, Mr Aditya M Bhat and Mr Siddaraju faculty members of Mahajana Tourism & Hospitality department.

This rally started from the Mysuru Palace Premises and ended at the Bannimantap Grounds. The rally was headed by the troop of Dasara Elephants followed by various Folk dancers, Tiger Dance troop, Dollu kunita, Students from different colleges, Hotel Association members and various other associations were also a part of this rally.
