One day hands-on Workshop on ‘Angular Web Application Development’

To enhance competence of students beyond the regular curriculum, the Department of Computer Studies had conducted a One day hands-on workshop on ‘Angular Web application Development’ for the students of 1st semester MCA on 5th April 2023. The workshop was arranged at MSC CS Lab, being conducted by the resource persons Mr. Prahasan P and Mr. Skanda from TechBitz software solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd, Mysuru.

This workshop was intended to provide participants with a detailed practical knowledge about various concepts of Angular. Workshop was organized to provide a platform for the participants to investigate new platform for web application development. Mrs. Rachana C R, Associate Professor & Head, Dept. of Studies in Computer Science gave the objectives and initiatives of the workshop being organized by the department. Event began with the welcome remarks by Smt. Yashaswini J, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science along with the introduction of the resource persons Mr. Prahasan P and Mr. Skanda from TechBitz software solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd, Mysuru and their expertise in this domain. Around 28 students (batch 2) participated in the workshop training.

All through the workshop, students were able to find out the outline and advancements of different concepts on Angular and also figure out how the Angular framework supported to frame a vigorous application and the ways intends to make easy to understand and viable user interface coding.

Mr.Prahasan P along with Mr.Skanda, TechBitz shared the introduction,basic structures and tags of HTML and also about CSS, JS. Then the implementation of CSS and JS in a web page and in a web application was being taught by them.

Hands on training given by the experts were accumulated with assessment of different practical exercise and tasks in AngularJS. This workshop was fruitful as students got good exposure to the technology of Angular JS. The workshop also gave a brief insight regarding tips for doing their final year projects in this domain. The entire session witnessed an enthusiastic participation and all the queries were answered by the resource persons.

Some of the student participants shared their feedback about the workshop and its outcomes. Overall the response for the workshop was fruitful; Smt. Yashaswini J, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science has delivered the vote of thanks and concluding remarks of this workshop.
