The study tours by students would enhance their knowledge about the professional laboratories and institutes. The visits to these esteemed laboratories would encourage them to pursue the research career and industrial career opportunities and provide an excellent chance to meet the pivotal scientists in the respective field of research.

The students of M.Sc. Biochemistry II semester (33 students) and two faculty visited IBAB, Bengaluru on 8th of Sep 2023. Dr. Chithra gave an orientation for 30 minutes about the achievements and career prospects at IBAB. Later, research assistants took the students for a tour of the IBAB laboratories along with detailed explanation about each instrument used for life sciences research. The students were accompanied by Dr. Girish Chandran and Ms. Rayana Lavitha D Silva.

The study trip was organized for M.Sc. Biochemistry II semester students of Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, SBRRMFGC PG wing. 33 students participated in the study trip.
