The HR Book Launch and Quiz Competition was organised by The Department of Studies in Business Administration, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, Mysuru.
Purpose & Scope
The event aimed to introduce and promote the newly published “Ultimate HR Generalist Handbook” authored by Meghana B N. Additionally, it provided an opportunity for HR students to engage with the content of the book through a specially organized HR Quiz.
The primary purpose was to enhance the knowledge and skills of HR students by familiarizing them with the latest industry practices and insights covered in the book. The quiz aimed to test and reinforce the students’ understanding of HR concepts.
The Brief of the Event
On the 18th of April, 2024, the Department of Human Resources hosted an engaging and insightful event featuring the much-anticipated launch of the “Ultimate HR Generalist Handbook,” authored by Meghana B N, the Founder and Head of Training at NextGen HR. The event began with a warm welcome address delivered by Srinivas Thimmaih, who underscored the significance of the book for HR professionals. He highlighted how the handbook would serve as a comprehensive resource for both aspiring and seasoned HR practitioners, offering real-world applications to complex HR challenges.
Following the welcome speech, Meghana B N took centre stage to present her book. She shared invaluable insights into the process and motivation behind writing the handbook, which was developed to equip HR professionals with the necessary tools, frameworks, and strategies to
excel in their roles. Meghana’s presentation was followed by an interactive session, where she elaborated on how the book is designed to be a practical guide, blending theory with actionable HR practices. The competitive atmosphere reflected the students’ enthusiasm and understanding of core HR concepts.

Target Audience
