CHRISTMAS CAKE MIXING
We are glad to inform you that our department organized a Christmas cake mixing celebration to focus more on human values which give equal importance to each religion’s customs and culture. Under the guidance of our beloved Director Dr.C.K.Renukarya, the initiative to organize this event was taken by Cdr.Satish H.N, Head (Tourism & Hospitality) and Prof. Satish G Chetty, HoD (Tourism) and Mr.George Jaison, HoD (Hospitality) with all faculty and students of the hospitality department. The prime objective was to admire the spirit of peace, brotherhood, charity and kindness.
The Department of BBA (Tourism & Hospitality) organized the cake mixing ceremony on 11/12/2020. Cake mixing was celebrated in the restaurant which was decorated with a Christmas tree and stars.
The culinary team led by Chef Sasi & Raje Gowad had everything from dry fruits, nuts, tutti-frutti, raisins, cashews to a variety of alcohol laid out for the guests to choose from. The event at Training Restaurant began with guests putting on their aprons and gloves as the mixture was tossed and turned to every heart’s content.
The event started with a Christmas cake mixing message delivered by Mr.George Jaison. And cake mixing done by Honourable Vice Chancellor of UOM Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Sri. T. Muralidhar Bhagavat, President – MES, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Bhagavat, HON. SECRETARY, Dr.C.K.Renukarya, Director, PG Centre, Cdr.Satish H.N, Head (Tourism & Hospitality) and Prof. Satish G Chetty, HoD (Tourism) and Mr.George Jaison, HoD (Hospitality) and all PG Faculty.
This event was broadcasted live at Tourism Auditorium for First year students of Hotel & Hospitality, Aviation, Geology, Forensic science and Food Processing.
