Our MSW students visited Kukkarahalli Lake for a bird watching field experience, offering them a refreshing opportunity to engage with nature and biodiversity.
The visit helped students observe diverse bird species in their natural habitat while understanding the importance of conservation, ecological balance, and environmental awareness. It also encouraged them to reflect on the role of social work in promoting sustainable practices and community responsibility towards protecting natural resources.
Such experiences go beyond the classroom, nurturing sensitivity towards the environment and reinforcing the connection between society and nature.
