Demonstration of Front Office Software – Fortune Next 6.5 Express

Department of Tourism &Hospitality Management, Mahajana PG Centre, Metagalli, Mysore-16, organized a demonstration of Front Office Software – fortune next 6.5 express under the guidance of Mr.Aditya Parashar, Territory Sales Manager, IDS NEXT, Hospitality Software, Bangalore on 13/06/2019 between 1.30 p.m and 4.30 p.m.

The objective to conduct this event was to know the features and functionality of the software to train our students and to enhance guest experience reduce cost, increase profitability.

Mr.Aditya Parashar explained and presented about the IDS Next designs-FortuneNext 6.5 Express which maintains a comprehensive range of information management systems for various hospitality businesses including hotels, restaurants, clubs, and resorts.

The software help hospitality professionals focus on providing efficient service by developing strategically sound, user-friendly software, packed with thoughtful details to enable higher productivity and greater profitability.

He further highlighted about the applications of the Front office module (Reservation, Registration, Check-in, Check out, POS, Billing, Account Payable/Receivable, Night Audit, Report Generation, Types of Guest Forms, Room status, , Employee Schedule, Complaint Handling, Guest Relationship Management) and Hardware & Software Specifications for Installation, training module aspects, training to faculty-in charge.

The event was planned and organized under the guidance of Dr.C.K.Renukarya, Director, Mahajana PG Campus and with the initiatives taken by Cdr.Satish, Head, Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality. Mrs.Usharani HoD (Tourism), Mrs.Gunarekha, Mr.Raviprasad, Mr.Srikant, Mr. Vinayakumar, Mr.Kaliyamoorthy from Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality Management and Mr.Prasanna David & Mr.Shivumanjesh from Dept. of Computer Science attended the event. The event was coordinated by Mrs.Gunarekha.
