Charter Presentation Ceremony 29.05.2023

PoojaBhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre – PG wing of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College took a magnificent step of serving the society by inaugurating the Inner wheel Club of Mysore west – The world’s largest voluntary women’s organization in the campus. The Inner Wheel Club of Mahajana Education Centre is the 50th club added to the family. The Charter Presentation ceremony was inaugurated on the forenoon of 29th May 2023 which witnessed the presence of biggies like the Club President Smt. RushmiGowda, the District Chairman Smt. KavithaNiyath, Smt. Suma Krishna and many more added in the list.

The inauguration was embarked with the Inner Wheel prayer by the club members lead by Smt. Shashikala which was followed by the auspicious traditional lamp lighting ceremony. The ceremony progressed with the welcome address by the Club President Smt. RushmiGowda who briefed about the inception of Inner Wheel Club. This was then followed by the opening remarks by the District Chairman Smt. KavithaNiyath.

The reins of the Charter presentation ceremony was then handed over to the past District Chairman Smt. Suma Krishna who executed the responsibility of introducing the new President of the Club Dr. Bhavana V to the members. The Club President Smt. RushmiGowda greeted Dr. Bhavana by handing over the Charter and the collar pin.In her presidential address, Dr. Bhavana emphasized on aligning the vision of Social Work Department with Inner Wheel Club and facilitating in serving the society in a more efficient way. The new Secretary of the Club Smt.Shobha D updated on some of the future projects that are being planned jointly by the Social Work Department and the Inner wheel Club. The club size also expanded with the addition of 20 new members being added to the family. Various PDS’s of IWC, members and president of IWC Nanjangud, members of IWC Mysuru west graced the occasion.
