Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, PG Wing of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, K.R.S. Road, Metagalli, Mysuru, Department of Studies in Computer Science had organized a Programme for the various department students of the PG Centre on 30thJuly 2019 in PG Auditorium.

The research team of Prof. Yuko Nikaido, Associate Professor, Musashi University, Tokyo, and Dr. Jesim Pais, Director, Society for Social and Economic Research, New Delhi conducted Lab experiments for the Post-graduate students as part of the research project ‘Networks and Industrial Clusters: Understanding entrepreneurship in small enterprises in Karnataka”. The aim of the conduction of the lab experiments was to understand the socio-economic settings of life and work, issues of competitiveness and risk taking behavior of students. This further would help the researchers use, design the survey and lab experiments with entrepreneurs.

The Programme began with the students of M.Sc. Computer Science presenting the naadageethe. Smt. Rachana C. R., Associate Professor and Head, Department of Studies in Computer Science welcomed and introduced the Research team.

The lab experiments consisted of 3 exercises which were innovative and thought-provoking for the students. All participating students also earned money as part of the lab experiments exercises. The students felt that, “The aim of the workshop was to enhance the spirit of entrepreneurship in them. It was a very unique thought and the lab experiments which were conducted gave them a unique perspective on how to behave in different situations while handling money related issues”.

The Programme concluded with feedback from students and a vote of thanks from Smt. Rachana C. R., Associate Professor and Head, Department of Studies in Computer Science.
