Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, PG Wing of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College (Autonomous), Department of Studies in Computer Science had organized 2 days workshop on ‘PROCEDURAL PROGRAMMING WITH C’’ in association with IQUEST TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., Mysuru for I Semester students of M.C.A & M.Sc. (CS) on 19th & 20th November 2019 in M.Sc. Computer Science LAB, PG Centre premises on K.R.S. road, Metagalli, Mysuru.
Smt. Rachana C R, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Studies in Computer Science welcomed and introduced the trainer and facilitators from iQuest. The sessions were delivered by Mr. Dinesh Murthy B L and facilitated by Ms. Sourabha from iquest. Mr. K.S. Manjunatha, Founder & CEO, iQuest, Mysuru was present.
The 2 days Workshop covered the following topics:
Introduction on programming Language
Difference between C and C++ Language and Uses of C Language
Advantage of C Language
Definition of Keywords, Header file and Syntax of C Language
Program to print message using ‘c’ language
Definition of Data Type, Variables and Scanf().
Demonstrate the program to accept 2 number and find the sum of 2 no.
Decision making with Program to find Leap year based on the user input year.
Iteration with Program to Display Multiplication table based on the user input no.
Nested If with Program to find grade of 5 subject Marks based on the user input.
Nested for with Program to display multiplication table from 2
Functions, Uses of Functions, Difference between build in function and user defined
function. Formal Parameters and Actual Parameters with Suitable Program to find the area of Circle.
Array, Different Types of Array, With Suitable program to find the value inside the Array element.
Pointers, Notation in Pointers, program on how to read data from memory data from Pointers.
Structure, uses of Structure, Example program on how to store the data in structure variables.
Storage with Suitable Example program.
The last session concluded with feedback from the students. The workshop was held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both the days. Certificates were distributed to the students.
