Attended Iqac Workshop –MMK & SDM Mahila MahaVidyalaya, Mysuru

We are glad to inform that under the direction of our beloved director Dr.C.K.Renukarya and guidance of Cdr.Satish, Prof.&Head (Tourism & Hospitality), Mrs.Gunarekha B.S, Asst.Professor  attended the one day workshop on “Revised NAAC Format”, “Internal Quality assurance Cell (IQAC), under UGC Paraamesh Scheme, organized by MMK & SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Mysuru on 10/1/2020 between 10.00a.m to 5.00p.m.

Prof.B.V.Sambashivaiah, CEO, JSS College, Ooty Raod, Mysuru inaugurated the event, then Resource Person Dr.YoganandaMoolemath, Chief Scientific Officer, Vittarthaa Life Sciences, Bangalore addressed the gathering. Presidential remarks were delivered by Prof.SainathMalligemadu, Principal, MMK & SDM MHV, Mysuru.

In Technical session 1- Criteria 3(NAAC): Dr.Honnappa H.C, Dean, JSS College, Myuru elaborated about faculty publications, extended activities (Association/Collaboration/NGO), Social relevance, Outreach programs, functional MoU/Research Cell, revenue generated by consultancy and corporate training.

Technical session 1-Criteria 4(NAAC): Dr.B.K.Kendaganna Swamy, JSS College, Mysuru addressed about infrastructure (Physical features) like lab/classroom/sports/yoga centre, seminar halls, budget allocation, library-rare books & manuscripts, stock declarations, standard procedures, e-content.

Technical session 2-Dr.Yogananda Moolemath, highlighted about the students attitude & behaviour related to learning aspects, teaching faculty members knowledge, mode of teaching, current trends, challenges in tackling the students attracted towards the subject through self learning techniques, practical, industrial visit, discussions, internship, placement activities. Further, he suggested in bridging the gap between the academic and industry through updated syllabus, hands on experience, training and skill & personality development.
