Demonstration of Front Office Software – WINHMS

Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Mahajana PG Centre, Metagalli, Mysore-16, organized a demonstration of Front Office Software -WINHMS under the guidance of Mr. Diwakar Joni, Territory Sales Manager, Winsar Infosoft Private Limited, Bangalore on 18/06/2019 between 2.30 p.m and 4.30 p.m.

The objective of this event –  to know how to simplify and speedup hotel management needs in the hospitality sector and to understand how WIMHMS streamlines business processes and provides customer insight with the intent to support customer loyalty and retention.

Mr. Diwakar Joni, explained and presented about the WINHMSas an integrated Hospitality solution featuring every aspect of property management including front office, back office, point-of-sale, centralized management information systems, budgeting, payroll and human resources, Single Vendor, Single Server, Single Database, Zero Interfaces between modules, Complete drill-through transparency and seamless integration empowering users and streamlining operations.

He highlighted about the applications of the Front office module (Reservation, Registration, Check-in, Check out, POS, Billing, Account Payable/Receivable, Night Audit, Report Generation, Types of Guest Forms, Room status, Employee Schedule, Complaint Handling, Guest Relationship Management), Housekeeping module & Point of Sale module and Hardware & Software Specifications for Installation, training module aspects, training to faculty-in charge.

The event was planned and organized under the guidance of Dr.C.K.Renukarya, Director, Mahajana PG Campus and with the initiatives taken by Cdr.Satish, Head, Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality. Mr.GeorgeJaison, HoD (Hospitality), Mrs.Gunarekha, Mr.Raviprasad, Mr.Vinayakumar, Mr.Kaliyamoorthy from Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality Management and Mr.Basant Kumar from Dept. of Computer Science attended the event. The event was coordinated by Mrs.Gunarekha.
