Engaging in conversations on sustainability and community action 🌍♻️

Our MSW students had the opportunity to attend the conference “Samudaya Sambrama: Rethinking Collective and Sustainable Waste Practices” at Roshni Nilaya. The conference provided a dynamic platform to explore innovative and community-driven approaches to waste management and sustainability.

Through insightful sessions and discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of collective responsibility, grassroots initiatives, and the role of communities in promoting sustainable waste practices. The experience encouraged critical thinking on environmental challenges and the importance of participatory approaches in addressing them.

Such platforms inspire our students to integrate sustainability into social work practice and contribute towards building environmentally responsible communities.
