International Yoga Day at Mahajana Post Graduate Centre
The International day of yoga was celebrated on 21.06.2019 by the Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality Mgmt. of Mahajana PG Centre, K.R.S.Road, Metagalli, Mysuru under the guidance of Mr.Ragavendra, Pranava Yoga Mandira, Mysore as a Resource person. A series of Asanas and Meditation was practiced as per the Yoga protocol of International Day of Yoga by Mahajana PG Centre Staff members and students to mark the significance of yoga and raise awareness about its benefits.
The session was followed by a special talk on “Yoga for Health” delivered by Dr.Ganesh Kumar, Founder & Director, Vivekananda Yoga Education & Research Institution, Mysuru. Then Yogic postures demonstration by the volunteers of Vivekananda Yoga Education & Research Institution, Mysuru.
Shri Divyapaada Swamiji, Art of Living, Mysore, enlighten the participants with his speech on “Yoga for Happiness”.The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr.C.K.Renukarya, Director, Mahajana PG Campus & Cdr. H.N.Satish (R), Head (Tourism & Hospitality). The Yoga day was coordinated by Smt. B.S.Gunarekha, Asst.Professor & Mr.Vinaya Kumar, Asst. Professor from the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management.
