Orientation Programme For Freshers

We organized orientation Programme-“Emerging Trends in Tourism & Hospitality” for freshers, the students of first year BBA (Tourism & Hospitality), BBA (Tourism & Air travel) & MTTM on 7^th August 2019 between 10.15a.m and 1.30 p.m at Tourism Auditorium. The objective of the programme was to highlight the significance of trends & technology in tourism & hospitality sector, to create awareness about the industry expectations and thevalues imparted by the institute to the students.

Cdr.Satish H.N Head (Tourism & Hospitality) introduced and welcomed the Chief GuestsMr. Manjunath. R, Airport Director, Airport Authority of India, Mysore Airport &Mr. Peter Pullialtu, General Manager, Hotel Fortune JP Palace, Mysuru.

Mr. Manjunath. R, explained about the technology utilization in Airport to facilitate the Guest to experience their journey a memorable one with satisfaction.Mr. Peter Pullialtu,spoke about the significance of trends & technology in Hospitality sector. He advised the students to tap with growth of the digital era to reach the needs of the industry.

The presidential remark was delivered by Dr.C.K.Renukarya, Director, Mahajana PG Campus. Dr.Satish G. Chetty, Professor & H.O.D (MTTM), Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality Mgmt.rendered vote of thanks. Smt.B.S.Gunarekha, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Tourism & Hospitality Mgmt, hosted the event.

All faculty members of the department were present. The Students interacted with the industrial experts’ after the formal function. At the outset the event inspired and motivated the students to dream big to achieve the opportunities in the tourism & hospitality industry.
