Master of Business Administration in Corporate social Responsibility (MBA in CSR)
In the light of Companies Act 2013, Corporate Social Responsibility has emerged as a profound area of Management with assuring opportunities and growth.
(MBA in CSR) provides opportunity to develop the career which is protected by Law. By virtue of its remarkable national standing of Companies Act 2013, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become mandatory. 2073 companies (plus 110000 industries) come under the ambit of CSR. This will create more than Rs.27,000/- crores yearly which is directly going to benefit the NGO'S and the other foundations by funding their CSR activities. Companies are expected to create more than 50,000/- jobs in the next few years to come in the CSR sector. As such, graduates in this field can fetch very good jobs. Keeping this in mind, the MBA in CSR programme is being started in Mahajana Postgraduate Centre .
Mahajana Education Society is located in a calm & serene atmosphere at Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre on K.R.S.Road, Metagalli, Mysore-16. The PG Courses which are being run at the Centre are affiliated to the University of Mysore . It offers Postgraduate education in the areas of Direct Value & Relevance to the current generation of students.
Eligibility :
Any degree from the recognized university with 50% Marks Aggregate (45% for SC/ST/Cat-1).

Special Lectures, Seminars and Workshops
Special lectures are arranged throughout the course and eminent persons are invited to interact with students, State level seminars and workshops are regularly held to giveawareness to the students and faculty on recent trends in management.
Soft Skills
Special thrust is given for development of soft skills through workshop and intensive training programs which are the tools required for an aspiring business executive.
Projects
Projects are part and parcel of the course and the Institute helps students in choosing the right industry and completing the projects in time. The PG Centre would be the right choice for the students aspiring to become a CSR executive and for working professionals who are in pursuit of knowledge and career growth.
Journals and Magazines
The library is subscribing for good number of journals and magazines. These are available to students for updating their knowledge in respect of latest developments and trends in the market. E-Journal facilities are also provided in the department. Students can have access to about 300 national and international journals.
Library
The Centre has well equipped library with good collection of books to cater to the needs of all the students. In addition to the existing, new books are also being added on a continuous basis. Reference section has been provided in the library where students can refer books and make notes. Books required for many competitive examinations are also available in the Library.
Computer Lab and Internet
The Centre has well equipped Computer Laboratory and internet facility. Internet is provided free of cost to the students.
Placement
The Centre has a Placement officer. Many important companies have conducted campus interviews at the campus. It wishes to put on record that the important companies like standard chartered bank, IDBI, HP, ITC, Wipro, Bajaj Allianz, and Reuters, Pearsons, Karvy, Private Sector Banks visit the campus for recruitment purpose. The efforts are pursued to place all our students.
Many premier companies have approached us in the past and we are sure the trend will continue, because of the Quality of Education provided by our Institute.
