Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, PG Wing of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Department of Studies in Computer Science had organized a special lecture on ‘Project based Learning’ for the students of III Semester M.Sc. Computer Science and V Semester M.C.A on 18th October 2019.
Smt. Rachana C R, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Studies in Computer Science welcomed and introduced the resource person Dr. R. K. Bharathi, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications, JSS S&T University, Mysuru to the audience.
Dr. R. K. Bharathi emphasized on the need and importance of ‘Do your own project’. She gave wide coverage to the areas on which students can take up project work. She threw light on the various data resources available on the internet which can be harnessed to implement solutions to real-life problems using Computer Science.
Dr. R. K. Bharathi encouraged the final year students to take up need- based projects which can solve a number of problems of the citizens in the current scenario.
