Current research interests:
In the field of cyber security for the banking sectors. Data collection of seminal data of customers of Gen X and Gen Z category of private bank sector will be used to give the best transaction security from cyber crime due to lack of awareness and negligence of the customers.
Doctoral Research:
The research topic is to study the cyber crimes in financial and banking sector –focused on user and system security issues in India . When we study about the cyber crimes we also need to study the implications on the cyber laws in India to curb the cyber crimes. Cyber crimes are more on financial front and is similar to the regular crimes are mostly focused on the “money” and “gold”.
The research would try to find the security issues and precautions that the user of internet banking, mobile banking, ATM’s, credit cards and the bank and financial institution’s staff who operate the banking computer counters and service the bank customers and (as the banking is now shifting their overflowing data to cloud servers and adding security threats to the present system) cloud security issues with reference to the data stored in cloud providers by the banks.
