Current research interests: Having my doctoral degree pursued on Social entrepreneurship, my research interests have merged in social entrepreneurship. As all the current discussions are revolving around sustainability, I am interested in studying the sustainability aspects with respect to social entrepreneurship. Alongside social entrepreneurship, areas which interests me is women in leadership roles. The role of women holding leading positions especially at educational institutions, public and private sectors.
Doctoral Research: Doctoral research was titled “A Study on Factors influencing Social Entrepreneurship and Value creation by Social enterprises”. The study was conducted with an objective to identify those factors that contribute to the taking up of social entrepreneurship and the social value created by them. The study was conducted among the Indian Social Entrepreneurs across various places in India. The study found that social entrepreneurship is strongly influenced by their empathy, self-efficacy, existing social gaps and the social support received by the social entrepreneurs. The study’s contribution to the literature lies in carrying out the study with the value adding mediating factors willingness to create value and feasibility of the venture creation.

- Secured third rank in Bachelor of Business Management at JSS College for Women.
